Breviceps namaquensis Power, 1926, Ann. S. Afr. Mus., 20: 465. Syntypes: SAM (2 specimens), by original designation. Type locality: "Port Nolloth, Namaqualand", Northern Cape Province, Rep. South Africa.

Distribution

Namaqualand coast of from the Orange River (border with Namibia) and Rep. South Africa south to the Melkbos District in the Western Cape Province; expected in extreme southern Namibia.
