Eleutherodactylus (Euhyas) beguei Díaz and Hedges, 2015, Solenodon, 12:125. Holotype: MNHNCu 1261, by original designation. Type locality: "the pine forests of La Munición (20°24′ 06″ N, 75°02′ 14″ W), Humboldt National Park, Municipality of Yateras, Guantánamo Province, 678 m", Cuba. 

English Names

None noted. 

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of La Munición, in the southwestern limit of Humboldt National Park, Municipality of Yateras, Guantánamo Province, Cuba, but it may have a wider distribution on the Meseta del Guaso or even more widely.

In the Eleutherodactylus palnirostris species series, Eleutherodactylus gundlachi species group, and similar to Eleutherodactylus varleyi and Eleutherodactylus feichtingeri, according to the original publication, where the external morphology, reproductive behavior, and advertisement call were detailed.
