Distribution

Known only from region of the type locality (east slope of Pardo de Miguel, 2180 m elevation, and 14 km by road west of Venceremos, 2000 m elevation, both in Provincia Rioja, Departamento San Martín, Peru.

Comment

In the Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group according to the original publication. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) unistrigatus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 128.
