Mus., 220: 61. AL-MN 719, designated lectotype by Heyer, 1985, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 98: xxx. Type locality: "Itatiaia et Serra de Cubatâo", Brazil. Lectotype from Campo Bello, Alto da Serra de Cubatão Alto Itatiaia, state of São Paulo, Brazil. Berneck, Targino, and Garcia, 2013, Zootaxa, 3692: 139, noted that the other original syntypes may not be of this species.
