Alsodes pehuenche Cei, 1976, Atti Soc. Ital. Sci. Nat. Mus. Civ. Stor. Nat. Milano, 117: 162. Holotype: IBAUNC 1646-1, by original designation. Type locality: "Pehuenche Valley in Andean mountains of Southern Mendoza Province, Argentina, 2000 up to 2500 m", Argentina.

Distribution

Pehuenche Valley (ca. 36° N), in the Andes of southern Mendoza Province (2000–2500 m), Argentina, and immediately adjacent Chile (ca. 5 km northwest of the Laguna del Maule at Cajón) south to Lo Aguirre Chico (35° 58′ 53″ S), Chile.

Correa-Quezada, Zepeda, Lagos, Salinas, Palma, and Vásquez, 2018, Zoosyst.
