Microcaecilia rochai Maciel and Hoogmoed, 2011, Zootaxa, 2984: 23. Holotype: MPEG 14596, by original designation. Type locality: "Reserva Pacanari (S 00° 38′ W 52° 34′), District of Monte Dourado, Municipality of Almeirim, State of Pará, Brazil".

Distribution

Eastern part of Pará north of the Amazon and adjacent western Amapá, Brazil; Miaraka Massif, southern French Guiana (see comment). 

Geographic Occurrence

Natural Resident: Brazil, French Guiana

Comment

 Fouquet, Vidal, and Dewynter, 2019, Zoosystema, 41: 372, only tentatively assigned their Mitaraka Massif specimens to this species, given the fact that so many species have been named out of the complex in the recent past.
