Ichthyophis supachaii Taylor, 1960, Univ. Kansas Sci. Bull., 40: 107. Holotype: EHT-HMS 35498, by original designation; FMNH 189246 according to Marx, 1976, Fieldiana, Zool., 69: 35. Type locality: "10 km. west Nakon Si Thamarrat [= Nakhon Si Thammarat], Nakon Si Thamarrat [=Nakhon Si Thammarat] province", Thailand.

Distribution

Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Yala, and Pathalung provinces, peninsular Thailand; possibly to be found in extreme northern peninsular Malaysia and peninsular Myanmar.

Tanintharyi: 22, provided a brief account as possibly to be found in peninsular Myanmar. Poyarkov, Nguyen, Popov, Geissler, Pawangkhanant, Neang, Suwannapoom, and Orlov, 2021, Russ. J. Herpetol., 28 (3A): 69, included peninsular Malaysia in the range without reference to literature or vouchers.
