Ichthyophis chaloensis Geissler, Poyarkov, Grismer, Nguyen, An, Neang, Kupfer, Ziegler, Böhme, and Müller, 2015, Organisms Divers. Evol., 15: 162. Holotype: IEBR A.2011.16, by original designation. Type locality: "in the forest near Cha Lo Village (17° 42′ 11.7″ N 105° 46′ 59.3″ E; elevation, 621 m), Hoa Son Commune, Minh Hoa District (extension area of Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park), Quang Binh Province, Vietnam".

English Names

Cha Lo Caecilian (Poyarkov, Nguyen, Popov, Geissler, Pawangkhanant, Neang, Suwannapoom, and Orlov, 2021, Russ. J. Herpetol., 28 (3A): 68).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Hoa Son Commune, Minh Hoa District, Quang Binh Province, Vietnam).
