Ichthyophis alfredi Mathew and Sen, 2009, Rec. Zool. Surv. India, Occas. Pap., 309: 4. Holotype: ZSI-ERS 841, by original designation. Type locality: "Meghalaya, East Garo Hills, Nokrek Biosphere Reserve, Daribokgre IB compound (Alt. 1119 m, N 25° 29′ 34.83″ E 90° 19′ 26.9″)", northeastern India.

Distribution

Known currently only from the vicinity of the type locality in the Nokrek Biosphere Reserve, East Garo Hills, Meghalaya, India, 416 to 1119 m elevation.
