Oscaecilia equatorialis Taylor, 1973, Univ. Kansas Sci. Bull., 50: 221. Holotype: USNM 166421, by original designation. Type locality: "Dyott Farm, Km 121 from Quito, 6 km E Santo Domingo de los Colorados, Pichincha, Ecuador".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (6 km east of Santo Domingo de los Colorados, Pichincha, northwestern Ecuador).

Comment

Taylor and Peters, 1974, Univ. Kansas Sci. Bull., 50: 338-339, noted that this is the only species of Oscaecilia found on the western slope of the Andes.
