Comment

In the Plethodon elongatus group according to the original publication. See photograph, map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 583. Fouquette and Dubois, 2014, Checklist N.A. Amph. Rept.: 223, report the species in adjacent Oregon, USA, as well as California, but this appears to be in error. Raffaëlli, 2013, Urodeles du Monde, 2nd ed.: 406, provided a brief account, photograph, and range map.
