Pseudoeurycea aurantia Canseco-Márquez and Parra-Olea, 2003, Herpetol. J., 13: 22. Holotype: EBUAP 2051, by original designation. Type locality: "4 km W Peña Verde, Oaxaca, México; 2805 m elevation; 17° 50.20′ N, 96° 47.05′ W".

Peña Verde Salamander (original designation; Liner and Casas-Andreu, 2008, Herpetol. Circ., 38: 32).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality near Peña Verde in the Sierra Juarez of Oaxaca, Mexico.
