Pseudoeurycea aurantia Canseco-Márquez and Parra-Olea, 2003, Herpetol. J., 13: 22. Holotype: EBUAP 2051, by original designation. Type locality: "4 km W Peña Verde, Oaxaca, México; 2805 m elevation; 17° 50.20′ N, 96° 47.05′ W".

English Names

Peña Verde Salamander (original designation; Liner and Casas-Andreu, 2008, Herpetol. Circ., 38: 32).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality near Peña Verde in the Sierra Juarez of Oaxaca, Mexico.

In the Pseudoeurycea juarezi group according to the original publication. Raffaëlli, 2013, Urodeles du Monde, 2nd ed.: 272–273, provided a brief account, photograph, and map.
