Most closely related to Oedipina kasios and Oedipina quadra according to the original publication. Sunyer, Townsend, Wake, Travers, Gonzalez, Obando, and Quintana, 2011, Breviora, 526: 1–15, noted a southernmost locality and commented on the range. Köhler, 2011, Amph. Cent.
