Nototriton tapanti Good and Wake, 1993, Herpetol. Monogr., 7: 134. Holotype: MVZ 203746, by original designation. Type locality: "Rio Quirí (elevation ca. 1300 m), 0.3 km northeast of the junction of the Tapantí Road and the Tausito Road, near Tapantí, Prov. Cartago, Costa Rica".

None noted.


Known only from the type locality in humid premontane Atlantic slope forest near Tapantí, in the Orosi River valley at the north end of the Cordillera de Talamanca, Costa Rica.
