Distribution

Known from the montane rainforest in the immediate vicinity of the type locality, near Berriozábal, and 12 km northwest of Berriozábal, in northwestern Chiapas, Mexico, 1068 to 1200 m elevation, and in two small caves at Cerro Baul, on the southwestern border of Chiapas with Oaxaca, 1592 and 2000 m elevation.
