Eurycea subfluvicola Steffen, Irwin, Blair, and Bonett, 2014, Zootaxa, 3786: 431. Holotype: MVZ 269485, by original designation. Type locality: "A[n] unnamed first order tributary of Slunger Creek, located in the Trap Mountains, a subdivision in the southeastern portion of the Ouachita Mountain physiographic province, Hot Spring County, Arkansas, USA.
