Distribution

Known from throughout the eastern third of Texas, eastward into portions of southern Arkansas, most of Louisiana, and eastern Mississippi, USA. 

Comment

 Wray, Means, and Steppan, 2017, Herpetol. Monogr., 31: 18–46, revised the Eurycea quadriditata complex, recognized this species, and noted that it is most closely related to the neotenic Eurycea of the Edwards Plateau of central Texas, USA.
