Atzalan Golden Salamander (original publication).
Distribution
Western side of Sierra de Chiconquiaco, part of the Sierra Madre Oriental in central Veracruz, Mexico, in cloud forest exclusively in arboreal bromeliads over oaks at 1249 m elevation.
Comment
Most closely related to Chiropterotriton nubilis and Chiropterotriton chiropterus according to the original publication.
