Distribution

Upper coastal plain and moderate elevations (600–1250 m elevation) of the Pacific slopes of southern Guatemala and El Salvador.

In the subgenus Bolitoglossa of Parra-Olea, García-París, and Wake, 2004, Biol. J. Linn. Soc., 81: 335, formerly the Bolitoglossa mexicana group. Savage, 2002, Amph. Rept.
