Bolitoglossa (Eladinea) mucuyensis García-Gutiérrez, Escalona Sulbarán, Mora, Diaz de Pascual, and Fermin, 2013, Zootaxa, 3620:184. Holotype: ULABG 1772, by original destination. Type locality: "Parque Nacional 'SierraNevada', La Mucuy, nearby a stream located between a trout farm and a place called Mesa de Los Pinos, 2225m asl, Santos Marquina municipality, Mérida state, Venezuela".
