Bolitoglossa hiemalis Lynch, 2001, J. Herpetol., 35: 226. Holotype: ICN 43850, by original designation. Type locality: "Páramo del Duende, Cerro Calima, Municipio de Río Frío, Departamento de Valle del Cauca, Colombia, between 3300 and 3600 m."

Distribution

Páramo del Duende, Cerro Calima, municipality of Río Frio, in the department of Valle del Cauca and Litoral de San Juan Municipality in Chocó Department, in Colombia, on the Cordillera Occidental, from 3200–3800 m elevation.

Tentatively placed in the Bolitoglossa palmata group (ca. = Bolitoglossa adspersa group) in the original publication.
