Bolitoglossa hartwegi Wake and Brame, 1969, Contrib. Sci. Nat. Hist. Mus. Los Angeles Co., 175: 10. Holotype: UMMZ 121557, by original designation. Type locality: "4.5 mi. W San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, . . . at about 2134 m (7000 feet) elevation".

Distribution

Mountainous regions of north-central Chiapas, Mexico, and adjacent Guatemala in the Sierra de Cuchumatanes, 1200–3500 m elevation.
