Distribution

Known only from the slopes of Volcán Atitlán, Volcán Tajumulco, and Volcán Tacaná and from the mountains along the southwestern escarpment of the Guatemalan Plateau, at elevations between 1800–2200 m (Guatemala); adjacent border area of Chiapas, Mexico, to Volcán Tacaná.
