Pseudoeurycea cafetalera Parra-Olea, Rovito, Márquez-Valdelmar, Cruz, Murrieta-Galindo, and Wake, 2010, Zootaxa, 2725: 61. Holotype: IBH14341, by original designation. Type locality: "Rancho dos Puentes, 6.0 km (by road) north of entrance to Huatusco, Veracruz, México (19° 11.13′ N, 96° 57.72′ W, 1322 m elevation)".
