Onychodactylus zhaoermii Che, Poyarkov, and Yan In Poyarkov, Che, Min, Kuro-o, Yan, Li, Iizuka, and Vieites, 2012, Zootaxa, 3465: 70. Holotype: KIZ 06130, by original designation. Type locality: "Huashan village environs, Sanjiazi subcounty, Xiuyan County, Liaoning Province, China, altitude 542 m a. s. l.; geographic coordinates: 40° 28′ N; 123° 16′ E".

Permanent streams in the Qianshan Mountains and the mountain areas of Liaoning peninsula in Liaoning Province of China, 500–800 m elevation; expected in adjacent P.D.R. Korea.
