Comment

The sister taxon of Rhacophorus dorsoviridis, and previously confused with Rhacophorus nigropunctatus, according to the original publication. Dufresnes and Litvinchuk, 2022, Zool. J. Linn. Soc., 195: 740, noted on the basis of 16S mtDNA distance that Zhangixalus lishuiensis and Zhangixalus zhoukaiyae are likely conspecifics.
