Rhacophorus modestus Boulenger, 1920, J. Fed. Malay States Mus., 8: 293. Syntypes: BMNH (5 specimens), including by museum records BMNH 1915.12.2.55–56 (now renumbered 1947.2.7.76–77), others not traced. Type locality: "Sungei Kumbang, 4,700 feet, Korinchi Peak, Sumatra", Indonesia.
