Rhacophorus achantharrhena Harvey, Pemberton, and Smith, 2002, Herpetol. Monogr., 16: 49. Holotype: UTA A53961, by original designation. Type locality: "western slope of Bukit Kaba, Bengkulu, Sumatra, Indonesia, 03° 30′ 02″ S, 102° 38′ 08″ E, 1415 m".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality on the western slope of Bukit Kaba and the southeastern slope of Gunung Dempo, Sumatra, Indonesia; expected elsewhere on the highlands along the western edge of Sumatra, Indonesia.

Comment

Most similar to Rhacophorus dulitensis and Rhacophorus prominanus according to the original publication. O'Connell, Hamidy, Kurniawan, Smith, and Fujita, 2018, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 123: 101–112, discussed (as Rhacophorus) molecular phylogenetics and biogeography.
