Distribution

Semi-evergreen forests  in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra; currently known from Jaichiwadi in the south and Taleghar near Bhimashankar in the north.

Comment

Formerly confused with Raorchestes bombayensis and the sister taxon of Raorchestes bombayensis + Raorchestes tuberohumerus according to the original publication. Sreekumar and Dinesh, 2020, Rec. Zool. Surv. India, 120: 33–40, discussed the range in Maharashtra, India, in terms of agro-climatic zones.
