Polypedates impresus Yang, 2008, in Yang and Rao (ed.), Amph. Rept. Yunnan: 109. Holotype: Number 01092, by original designation, institution of deposit not noted (presumably KIZ). Type locality: Simao City (now known as Puer), Nuozdu River Crossing, Yunnan, China, 850 m elevation.

English Names

Concave-crowned Treefrog (Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2012, Colored Atlas Chinese Amph. Distr.: 527). 


Known definitely only from a few localities in Yunnan (Puer, Lüchun, Xishuangbanna) and Guangxi (Jingxin), China, and imprecisely from Laos. 


Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2012, Colored Atlas Chinese Amph. Distr.: 527, provided an account, photographs, and a range map. Pan, Dang, Wang, Zheng, Rao, and Li, 2013, Asian Herpetol. Res., 4: 124-133, provided further support for the recognition of this species within the Polypedates leucomystax complex and discussed the complex within China.
