Philautus cardamonus Ohler, Swan, and Daltry, 2002, Raffles Bull. Zool., 50: 468. Holotype: BMNH 2000.0149, by original designation. Type locality: "Phnom Samkos in the Phnom Samkos Wildlife Sanctuary, Pursat Province, Southwest Cambodia (UTM 1343841N 0287890E) . . . . in evergreen forest at an altitude of 1,650 m a.m.s.l.".

Distribution

Cloud forest at elevations of 1000 to 1700 m elevation on the summits of Samkos and Tumpor Mountains in the Cardamon Mountains, southwestern Cambodia.

Comment

Not identifiable with any of the existing species groups according to the original publication. Neang and Holden, 2008, Field Guide Amph. Cambodia: 106, provided a photograph, brief account of identification, ecology, and range in Cambodia.
