Known only from the type locality (Senapati District, Manipur, northeastern India).


Most similar to Chiromantis vittatus (as Chirixalus) according to the original publication. Mathew and Sen, 2010, Pict. Guide Amph. NE India: 90-91, provided a brief characterization and a photograph.
