Hylarana centropeninsularis Chan, Brown, Lim, Ahmad, and Grismer, 2014, Herpetologica, 70: 231. Holotype: ZRC 1.10536, by original designation. Type locality: "Sungai Temir, within the Lakum forest reserve, Raub, Pahang, Malaysia". 

Pulchrana centropeninsularis — Oliver, Prendini, Kraus, and Raxworthy, 2015, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 90: 188 (provisional arrangement). 


Known from two adjacent localities in central Peninsular Malaysia: Sungai Temir (= Temir River), Lakum Forest Reserve, Raub Pahang, and Kuala Gandah, Lanchang, Pahang. 


In the Hylarana signata complex, previously confused with Hylarana siberu, according to the original publication.
