Odorrana mutschmanni Pham, Nguyen, Le, Bonkowski, and Ziegler, 2016, Zootaxa, 4084: 423. Holotype: IEBR 3723, by original designation. Type locality: "in the karst forest near Coong Village (22°42.712’N, 106°40.075’E, at an elevation of 447 m), Duc Quang Commune, Ha Lang District, Cao Bang Province, Vietnam". English Names

Mutschmann’s Odorous Frog (Poyarkov, Nguyen, Popov, Geissler, Pawangkhanant, Neang, Suwannapoom, and Orlov, 2021, Russ. J. Herpetol., 28 (3A): 50). 

Distribution

Known only from Ha Lang District, Cao Bang Province, northeastern Vietnam), although presumably to be found in adjacent karst formations in Ha Giang Province of Vietnam and possibly adjacent China.

Comment

In the Odorrana andersonii group and the sister taxon of Odorrana wuchuanensis according to the original publication. Pham, An, Herbst, Bonkowski, Ziegler, and Nguyen, 2017, Bonn Zool. Bull., 66: 37–53, provided additional records for Cao Bang Province, Vietnam, along with observatons on morphology and natural history.
