Comment

A member of the Rana chiricahuensis group according to the original publication. Lemos-Espinal, 2007, Anf. Rept. Chihuahua Mexico: 59-60, provided an account for Chihuahua, Mexico. Enderson, Van Devender, and Bezy, 2014, Check List, 10: 921, considered this a synonym of Lithobates chiricahuensis because they questioned whether they could be accurately diagnosed.
