Rana albolabris acutirostris Parker, 1936, Novit. Zool., 40: 141. Holotype: BMNH, by original designation; museum records give 1936.8.1.1 and 1947.2.3.69 as syntypes. Type locality: "Congulu" (= Congolo), western Angola. Preoccupied by Rana fusca acutirostris Fatio, 1872.

West-central Angola (Kwanza Sul) in lowland forest and swampy areas along the coast.
