Comment

Removed from the synonymy of Amietia angolensis by Channing, Dehling, Lötters, and Ernst, 2016, Zootaxa, 4155: 37–40 (who provided an account), where it had been placed by De Witte, 1930, Rev. Zool. Bot. Afr., 19: 261; Loveridge, 1933, Bull. Mus. Comp. Zool., 74: 363. (This synonymy disputed by Parker, 1931 "1930", Proc. Zool. Soc. London, 1930: 897.) See comment under Amietia angolensis for access to older literature that may address this species under the older umbrella name.
