English Names

Ogowe River Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 104).


Known only from Gabon at the type locality (Lambarene, Moyen-Ogooué) and 175 km to the east at Ramba Village, Ogooué-Ivindo Province, Gabon.

Not addressed by Zimkus, Rödel, and Hillers, 2010, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 55: 883–900, so not assigned to species group. Larson and Zimkus, 2015, Herpetol. Rev., 46: 57, provided the record away from the type locality (Lambarene), at Ramba Village, Gabon.
