Litoria hunti Richards, Oliver, Dahl, and Tjaturadi, 2006, Zootaxa, 1208: 59. Holotype: SAMA R60716, by original designation. Type locality: "Utai, Sanduan Province (141° 35′ E, 03° 23′ S)", Papua New Guinea.

Litoria huntorumShea and Kraus, 2007, Zootaxa, 1514: 45. Unjustifed emendation.

"Litoria" hunti — Duellman, Marion, and Hedges, 2016, Zootaxa, 4104: 39. Incertae sedis within Pelodryadidae. 

Litoria huntorum — Kraus, 2018, Zootaxa, 4457: 273. 

Nyctimystes hunti  — Here (25 August 2018), based on the placement of this species in the "Litoria" gramineus complex according to Kraus, 2018, Zootaxa, 4457: 274.

Distribution

Known only from West Sepid and Sanduan Provinces, northern Papua New Guinea, although expected to have a broad distribution in the northern lowlands of Papua New Guinea and into adjacent northeastern Papua, Indonesia.

Comment

Most similar to Litoria infrafrenata and Litoria graminea according to the original publication. Shea and Kraus, 2007, Zootaxa, 1514: 37-60, commented on the paratypes. A likely member of the Litoria graminea according to Kraus, 2018, Zootaxa, 4457: 273. Kraus, 2013, Herpetol. Rev., 44: 278, provided a record from the Torricelli Mountains, West Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea.
