Nyctimystes eucavatus Menzies, 2014, Alytes, 30: 51. Holotype: UPNG 3665, by original designation. Type locality: "in vegetation alongside a forest stream in Baiyer River Sanctuary (WHP), 800 m asl", Western Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea.

Distribution

A span of 460 km from Ok Ma and Telefomin to Okapa along the central mountain ranges of eastern New Guinea at elevations of 800 to 1800 m.
