Litoria flavescens Kraus and Allison, 2004, J. Herpetol., 38: 198. Holotype: BPBM 16441, by original designation. Type locality: "N of Saidowai, 9° 57.780′ S, 150° 57.248′ E, 0–5 m elevation, northeast end of Sewa Bay, Normanby Island, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea".

Distribution

Currently known only Normanby Island, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea; likely to be found throughout the D'Entrecasteau Island group.

Comment

In the Litoria thesaurensis group according to the orignal publication. Previous records of Litoria thesaurensis from the d'Entrecasteaux Island group presumably apply to this species. Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 112–113, provided a brief account for this species which he included in his Litoria thesaurensis complex.
