Odontophrynus maisuma Rosset, 2008, J. Herpetol., 42: 135. Holotype: ZVCB3368, by original designation. Type locality: "Cabo Polonio, 34°23′ S, 53°47′ W, Departamento de Rocha, Uruguay".

Comment

In the Odontophrynus americanus group according to the original publication. Borteiro, Kolenc, Pereyra, Rosset, and Baldo, 2010, Zootaxa, 2611: 1-15, reported this species as diploid and also on its larval morphology and natural history.
