Western portion of the Northern Deserts region: from approximately Fitzroy Crossing, Western Australia, to west of Daly Waters, Northern Territory, Australia.

Most similar to and previously confused with Uperoleia trachyderma according to the original publication. See Ellis, Doughty, and Roberts, 2017, Rec. W. Aust.
