Callula verrucosa Boulenger, 1904, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 7, 13: 131. Syntypes: BMNH 1904.1.26.18-20 according to Parker, 1934, Monogr. Frogs Fam. Microhylidae: 81, and MCZ 2476 (2 specimens on exchange from BMNH) according to Barbour and Loveridge, 1929, Bull. Mus. Comp. Zool., 69: 235. Type locality: "Yunna Fu [= Kunming] (altitude about 6000 feet) .... garden of the Mission station", Yunnan Province, China.

Kaloula macroptica Liu, 1945, J. West China Border Res. Soc., Ser. B, 15: 31. Holotype: CIB 521, by original designation. Type locality: "Ho-hsi [=Hexi] ( . . .), Sichang [= Xichang Shi] Sikang Province [now part of Sichuan Province], 6500 ft. altitude", China. Synonymy by Liu and Hu, 1961, Tailless Amph. China: 289-291; Yang, 1991, Amph. Fauna of Yunnan: 233.

Distribution

Yunkwei Plateau of Sichuan, Yunnan, and Guizhou, China; presumably expected in adjacent Myanmar, Laos, and Vietnam.
