Kalophrynus anya Zug, 2015, Proc. California Acad. Sci., Ser. 4, 62: 150. Holotype: USNM 537420, by original designation. Type locality: "Chatthin Wildlife Sanctuary, San Maung Camp (~23° 35′ 57ʺ N, 95° 31′ 13ʺ E) elevation ~200 m, approximately 2 km WNW of Chatthin (town), Sagaing Division, Myanmar".

Northern Burmese Sticky Frog (original publication). 

Distribution

Currently known from east-central Sagaing Division and south-central Kachin State, Myanmar, possibly into adjacent Thailand.

Previously confused with Kalophrynus interlineatus and Kalophrynus pleurostigma according to the original publication. Zug, 2022, Smithson. Contrib. Zool., 653: 29, briefly discussed identification, habitat, and range in Myanmar.
