Chiasmocleis supercilialbus Morales and McDiarmid, 2009, Biotempo, Lima, 9: 72. Holotype: MHNSM 16174, by original designation. Type locality: "Pakitza, Reserve Zone, Manu National Park, ca. 57 km (airline) NW of the mouth of the Rio Manu, on the Rio Manu, 350 m, 11° 56′ 47″ S, 71° 17′ 00″ W, Madre de Dios, Peru".

Distribution

Known only from type locality in Manu National Park, Madre de Dios, Peru, elevation 350 m, and ca. 200 km to the east at Seringal Etelvi, Reserva Extrativista Chico Mendes, state of Acre, Brazil, and to Rio Formoso, Rondônia, Brazil.

França, Freitas, Bernarde, and Peloso, 2013, Check List, 9: 92-93, provided the record (as Chiasmocleis supercilialbus) for Acre, Brazil. Peloso, Sturaro, Forlani, Gaucher, Motta, and Wheeler, 2014, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat.
