Stumpffia miery Ndriantsoa, Riemann, Vences, Klages, Raminosoa, Rödel, and Glos, 2013, Zootaxa, 3636: 579. Holotype: ZMB 77453, by original designation. Type locality: "Madagascar, Ranomafana region, Ambolo forest fragment, S 21° 15.752′, E 047° 30.412′ (site name: FFst04), app. 660 m a.s.l., near a small stream".

Known only from the vicinity of Ranomafana National Park, southeast-central Madagascar. 


This species had been referred to as candidate species Stumpffia sp. 1 by Vieites et al. (2009). :
