Hylophorbus sextus Günther, 2001, Russ. J. Herpetol., 8: 97. Holotype: MZB Amph. 6918, by original designation. Type locality: "Wapoga Alpha Exploration Camp in the headwaters of the Wapoga River, 03° 08.687′ S, 136° 34.423′ E, altitude 1070 m NN, Irian Jaya [now Papua], Indonesia".
