Gastrophrynoides immaculatus Chan, Grismer, Ahmad, and Belabut, 2009, Zootaxa, 2124: 65. Holotype: HC 00279, by original designation. Type locality: "Gunung Besar Hantu, Negeri Sembilan, Peninsular Malaysia . . . at an elevation of 800-1400 meters a.s.l.".
