Cophixalus tagulensis Zweifel, 1963, Am. Mus. Novit., 2141: 6. Holotype: AMNH 60066, by original designation. Type locality: "west slope of Mt. Riu, Sudest (Tagula) Island, Louisiade Archipelago, Territory of Papua, New Guinea [Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea]".

Asterophrys tagulensis — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 479, by implication.

Distribution

Known only from the type locality on Sudest (= Tagula) Island (Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea).
